At Hotel GUT Trattlerhof & Chalets, guests are treated to exceptional culinary experiences at the on-site restaurant and the nearby Falstaff-awarded mountain restaurant, “Trattlers Einkehr.” This rustic eatery, with its beautiful sun terrace, is a true marketplace of flavors, showcasing regional and seasonal products. Alongside traditional Carinthian specialties from the farm kitchen, the menu features dry-aged beef steaks as well as freshly caught trout and char from the hotel’s own fishpond. Highlights include homemade bread and the on-site smokehouse. For lovers of Italian cuisine, the pizzaiolo prepares delicious pizzas with a house-made recipe and plenty of amore. Those with a sweet tooth should not miss the homemade Trattlers Hoftorte, baked according to a traditional farm recipe, perfectly paired with a cup of coffee.

Betting on the Right Horse
The hotel’s own riding stable with arena offers ideal conditions for equestrian enthusiasts of all levels, making it the perfect place for those who want to combine their holiday with riding or experience horseback riding for the first time—without missing out on relaxation, indulgence, and the many other GUTshof experiences.

Together with our riding instructor, children (from 6 years old), teenagers, and all horse lovers can learn to ride, refresh their skills, and improve their technique and feel at the GUTshof.

The eight lovingly cared-for school horses are the pride of the farm and look forward to galloping with you through the picturesque landscape.
Lessons in longeing and dressage, as well as multiple trail riding routes, are available—here, every rider’s dream comes true.

Guests can also test drive the hotel’s Tesla Model Y and explore Europe’s longest Flow-Country Trail on the hotel’s e-mountain bikes.
